Before TestView, every teacher's preparation for the school year began with a time-consuming and redundant process. To determine the past performance of each student, teachers would go to the main office, sit with 25 student folders on their lap, thumb through each folder to find and review the PACT scores, and then copy this information down by hand. This time-consuming process would take each teacher thirty minutes to an hour per class.
Today, teachers prepare for the new school year by simply sitting at their classroom computers, clicking on each class roster group, and selecting the test scores they'd like to review for all their students. They can easily view their students grouped by PACT level or other scores of interest. This view helps them prepare their lesson plans by understanding how their students fare in different subject areas.
