Academic Plans are generated automatically, allowing schools to be in compliance with the law that mandates the preparation of an Academic Plan for every student who scores Below Basic on the PACT exam. Selection of the criteria and the format for the Academic Plan is customizable by district, and can include Academic Plans for a single subject matter or for multiple subjects relevant to the area(s) in which the individual student is deficient.
To help track completion of Academic Plan workflow, the district can define the tasks that need to be completed by teachers, school or district staff and then monitor the status of completion through an academic plan status report as shown below. Teachers can receive task reminders when parent conferences need to be scheduled or when it's time to review their Academic Plans for the upcoming grading period.
