VC3 seeks professional sales executive for its GA K-12 education territory. The ideal candidate will have familiarity with the K-12 education market in the GA area as well as surrounding areas.
Regional K-12 Sales Executive develops business in K-12 Districts for TestView, a web-based Student Achievement Analysis Tracking system: www.TestView.com. Essential Requirements:
- 8 to 10 years successful sales experience with K-12 Education Administrators.
- Successful experience in selling administrative and/or instructional software or hardware solutions.
- Highly motivated with strong motivation to succeed.
- Experience in organizing and preparing RFP proposals.
- Ability to effectively communicate with key decision makers at all levels of the organization.
- Proficient in developing successful sales strategies for individual accounts and territories.
- Demonstrated ability in executing creative and successful sales promotions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in developing sales presentation materials and delivering to prospects.
- Self-starter with a strong work ethic.
- Strong organizational skills; ability to meet deadlines; implement rapid deployment.
- Ability to interact effectively with all levels internal and external to the organization.
- Proficient in Internet and presentation technologies.
Desired but not required qualifications:
- Experience as a teacher or administrator in K-12 Education.
- B.A. or M.A. in Education or related field.
Responsibilities:
- Achieve high close rate.
- Develop state level relationships at Department of Education.
- Develop executive relationships for district level sales.
- Deliver sales demonstrations on-line and to large groups in person.
- Assist in trade show strategy and deployment.
- Enhance, design and prepare sales and marketing materials.
- Prepare weekly sales reports and forecasts.
- Assist Channel sales partners in closing sales.
- Execute operational activities, i.e., direct mail, sales operations.
